Scott and Gr8Daneger for the Teton shifter knobs did you order a 4Runner or Tundra or does it really matter will they fit either way?

I order the Tundra knob. I just looked and I seems he has a new generation out with the G10 on the sides instead of sandwiched in the middle.

I have had the honor of product testing a shift knob from my buddy kai. Many of you have seen his YouTube channel Tinkerer's Adventures . Anyhow, this shift knob feels great since it's weighted and is also height adjustable. There is also a replaceable patch on top of the knob. It will come in a variety of accent colors as well.
It will be available later this week on Tinkerer Design Studio LLC - http://tinkererdesign.com!!!

Mine just showed up today, I’ll have it installed tomorrow.

Solid piece, the machining is great as is the anodizing.

I really like the ability to change the patch, I have a few already that I can get to work. My only complaint is the size of the area for the patch. It is 1.25 inch. There are tons of really killer patch options at 1.5 inch. All mine are 1.5 inch but I’ve been able to trip them down enough to fit and I will add some adhesive backed velcro on the trimmed pvc since trimming removes the stitches that hold the patch velcro in place. All in all this isn’t a deal breaker, just an annoyance.

I’ll update with some installed pictures tomorrow.

Got it installed today, I got delayed with some intestinal plague one of my kids brought home… it’s been good times.

Anyway. Knob looks really good. I had purchased some other screw on options but never kept them for more than a day or so, they just didn’t seem to fit the rest of the truck. However, this one will stay. I have a few other patches that I can change out if I wish and the design matches the ruggedness of the rest of the truck.

For those curious, this knob is the same dimensions as the stock one, just a slight difference in shape.

On our 2017 LX I just wanted something to replace the OEM one that was slightly scratched. Been 6 months and I'm happy with the new one still. Went with this one from Amazon: https://amzn.to/3H4yigE

Since there's no button/lock mechanism on these shifters, I guess in theory you could add anything that has a female M8x1.25 thread in it?

Pulled the wooden one I had on there off, swapped to this. Was in another car I owned, that was taken out by a deer years ago. Just wanted to change it up.
