Most big online dealers probably all have these issues depending on the amount of orders they get. My personal experience has been going and picking up my parts and that has been a good experience but obviously everyone can't do that. I did order some stuff last month from World Toyota in Atlanta because I wasn't in a hurry for it and I could save sales tax since I was out of state. It took about 3 weeks to get and arrived missing a part but they sent that part out the next day after I called. So I assume they all struggle to keep up with larger amounts of orders escpecially when they have sales. Treasure Coast Lexus in Florida has always been great and very fast shipping if you need any Lexus parts.

My last order from them during the 25% off sale took 6 days to ship. Slower than the smaller shops but they have to get a ton of orders.
I wouldn't order anything you need urgently but I could wait

Edit: Actually it was Toyota of Decatur so nevermind. Looks like they're in the same network so have the same sale going on right now

Toyota of Decatur is Serra, right?

Serra does run a bunch of sales and the have gotten a lot more popular so I’m not surprised at the slow shipping times they have. I tend to only order if I don’t mind waiting. Otherwise I’ll pay the extra price for quicker shipping from smaller shops or other dealers.

I think it's Serra Toyota Group and they have different locations and some locations are better than others
Copy. The order I placed was through Decatur.
Sounds like the Serra family might be doing alright for themselves.

Regarding Serra. Don't try to order from Serra Toyota in Traverse City, Mi, they are a different Serra and part of a different ownership group.

I made an order from thread title location with their last sale. got the stuff quickly. Was missing a manifold gasket for my highlander when I checked the box Sat night. Sent email Sunday to them with what was missing. Had a tracking order Monday with missing part and it came today. They are better than they were 8 months ago. I go back since they have more sales than other locations (Lewis in KS) Like everything, your milage will vary.

One thing to remember is Serra doesn’t stock all the parts either, so ordering through them usually means they have to order it from Toyota, goes to them, then they ship it to you. At least, that’s how everything I’ve ordered has gone.

I ordered some parts from Serra Toyota of Decatur on February 25 and the order status is still at "processing". Is this typical for how long they take to ship an order?

Yes, just give it another month or so. Still recovering from Christmas. Plus they need time you triple bubble wrap and box everything.

Yep, Ordered a bunch of stuff in diferent orders from them the last couple months.
AHC fluid
Rams/Shocks
Radiator
etc

The only thing that was even wrong was my last order.
Ordered 2 sets of corner lenses (so 2 left and 2 right), 2 blinker/marker sockets and 2 of the female end of the pigtail that goes to them. Only got 1 set of the corners.

Emailed and they got back to me less than 4 hrs after I emailed them. They totally got back to me after hours since I had sent the email right as they were closing.

He apopolpgized and said they will send them.
He said the last V-Day sale they still had like 1500 orders to go through. (This was like a month ago so don't worry)

I'm still waiting on my order on February 25.

Yeah dude, don't worry. They're still a little behind from black friday. Doesn't sound like them at all, I'm sure they'll make it right by hand-delivering it to you in gift wrap. That's the Serra I know. Plus Serra is unique from all the rest in that they don't stock every single Toyota part on premise. All those other bozos like to sit on inventory. But that's how they get you that hometown service feel. Plus you should take ownership over the fact that you didn't proactively plan these repairs six months in advance.

A LOT of internet traffic ends up at that AL dealership because they have the lowest prices. I ordered once. Received a partial order. Sent a couple emails and the response was parts on order. Waited a couple months then sent an email asking for a refund for the missing items and they promptly refunded.

I buy elsewhere now.

Thanks to this thread, I've avoided them.
Turns out my local dealer 5 mins away participates in the sales. I will just go pickup my stuff.

I did order from World Toyota and the items haven't shipped. I am guessing they are on backorder.

I'm in Texas too, which dealer is it? Haven't seen any in the state that participate, most have no idea.
