Seeking scale drawings of 100-series

I created a drive location with step and solidworks compatible parts so you don't have to sit through the 2d-3d conversion process on slower machines. Theres over 300 components in that dwg file.

FLWookie (may Chewbacca rest in piece): wowza, these are all full scale importable (solid works etc) parts/body?

Does that include the chassis details (that is the chassis horns where aftermarket bumpers are typically attached)?

I actually just acquired a Fujimi plastic HDJ101K 100 series plastic model for the purpose of scanning. 'course I have to relive my youth and build the darn thing....lots of airplane glue to sniff

I just pulled itup and measured the body line of the driver side door. That measures 4.18 inches. Guessing its close to 1:10 but i'd have to go measure that door line in the driveway to be sure.

Just realized the other thread on this: 100 Series 3d models - solidworks compatible

Even better than I imagined. Now all I have to do is resurrect my search on SW compatible free/low cost cad ware.

Does anyone have a 3d model on the OnShape program/website?

It looks like OnShape is compatible with .dwg file types. You should be able to download the .dwg @LandCruiserPhil posted on the first page of this thread or use the .stp file i uploaded to my drive folder in the comment above.

Even better than I imagined. Now all I have to do is resurrect my search on SW compatible free/low cost cad ware.

Not much is compatible with the SW file types, that's why i included the .STP file, which should be compatible across various "pro" software suites like Fusion, Inventor, SW, Sketchup, etc.

Fusion360, it's an AutoDesk product and free

Yes, lightly familiar with Fusion. I did identify another software (cloud based?) that seemed to fit my infrequent product development needs better. Just have to dig around my history for it.

I found a model someone created for a game in .dae format, converted for sketchup, and resized it to 1/10. Wheelbase = 11 3/16". Can't speak to the accuracy of the rest of the dimensions or take credit for the modeling, but it would make for a pretty sick RC car. I put the model up on dropbox if anyone wants to download it.

When I downloaded it, It can't open the file because there is no app associated with it. I tried using the web version of sketchup (free version) and it still won't work. I just need to use the model to be painted black with grey bottom cladding and a grey ARB if anyone is willing to help me out since I can't seem to get it to work
