Well, did battle again today and lost. I cracked all injectors one by one make sure fuel was getting to it and it would act like it wanted to catch. It started a couple times then just died. I had my wife crank it over wHile I was squirting some WD-40 in it and it love to that to the point where it started and then quickly died. All the times I was cranking over I had to glow plugs on.

I also had all vacuum lines off the IP.

I think my next move it's to check IP timing and/or valves.

Called a local mechanic who works on nothing but old Mercedes. After I told him what I was doing he said that he wanted to come out to my house because he's about to do a om617 in a 4Runner. I'll report back once he comes over.

Also this just came in. It's for the 6 millimeter injector line.

Mine crapped out for some reason after a few hundred miles of use. Which reminds me I need to call them for warranty. I do like how simple it is to install and use and that it keeps track of hours.

Did you get the tiny tach for a good price? Im in the market for one

Well, I think I do not have a lift pump issue. I pumped it 30 times and heard it pumping fuel back into the tank. While I was pumping it, I had some crank the engine. No start.

Congrats dude! Let it cool down and check the valve lash. You can do it hot, but be sure to use the "warm" specifications.
