Are there any differences, other than color, in the seat belts used for short jump seats from year to year

Market changes... Buckle style changes ... color changes... lap or three point

There were differences ... but... they all bolt up and hold you in just fine

There seem to be changes in the part number throughout the years, I found 3 different part #s from 74 to 80. What I can't find is what the physical difference is.

Maybe some of the Toyota historians here can provide some feedback.

If your talking about USA only...

I believe 74' was a tad shorter overall length

75-79? Were the same

80+ were grayish

I know the front seat belts were grey starting in 79. Same with color of front and back seats not sure where my 79's rear seat belts are right now but remember them being grey.

You can still get OEM jump seat belts from the dealer. Just fyi.

!!!!! For a FJ40? 1980. I have seen them for 79s
