Screw/Bolt type for the Stereo Bracket

I have a 99 LX470, and during the install of a new aftermarket stereo, I lost the screws or bolts that connect the factory mounting brackets to the dash or vehicle chasis.

I called the local Lexus dealership and they gave me the part number
9015350010, but since they are out of stock I cannot buy it from them.

Does anybody know the size or type of these screws or bolts so that I can look for them at the local hardware store?

Are they just out at your local dealership? Just checked ToyotaPartsDeal.com and they show in stock.

No idea but I’m guessing 6x1.00mm.

The local dealership can probably get it by Tuesday, but since I am in the middle of the install, I would like to finish it by tomorrow.

Do you mean M6? Those might be for connecting the bracket to the stereo and not the dash itself.

yes the bolt is a 6x1.0 thread and about 15mm long. if you just lost one youll be fine with three holding it in the dash. and bracket to radio should be 5x.8 thread

You and GTV are right. This does seem like the right screw Metric Hex Flange Bolts A2 Stainless Steel M6

I will keep you guys posted once I am able to buy them.

you should be able to get them at lowes, I think that they have abetter selection of hardware than home depot
