Idea! Get a hand throttle and pull it out enough to raise the idle when running the AC.

Hmmm. maybe I could use my choke cable.

I don't think it hooks up to the new weber.

did you fire it up yet?

I am missing air rail plugs, fuel line, and there is an open hole on the intake, that i posted a pic of earlier.

Transfercase and engine still need to be filled with oil also

Like GLTHFJ60 said, an oem hand throttle cable will probably help. It attaches to the factory knockout and to the top of the pedal.
The Weber should have an electric choke, no?

Oh yeah. It came with some really short wire, that was black and grey.

How do I hook that up? I totally forgot about that.

If you haven't bought air rail plugs yet, 1/4" NPT plugs work great and they're wicked cheap.

I got some metric stainless bolts from mcmaster. My P.O. did a hack job on the air rail...looked like he twisted the lines up with a pair of vise grips.

What is the correct size? Because jtoutfitters said they had some and they sent me the wrong part. and they have yet to send me replacements. (back in december)

I just want to get the correct fit. American sizes and BSPT are two different things. I'd rather get the right thread pitch if I can.

I just looked in my records and I got M14 x 1.5 x 30mm bolts to go into the air rail from mcmaster. I also got the ones from JToutfitters as well, but they were M12's

Here's a pic of my setup. Notice the bolts for the air rail. I left that mechanism in the intake to fill the other hole but it is blocked off. I have added another vacuum port for the PCV valve which is not shown here.

So those bolt right into the head? not to those things the rail bolted into? its hard to see from this angle

correct, these bolt directly into the head and they were pretty damn tight but you might think about using loctite to ensure that there is a good seal.

Thanks a lot dude.

Now if i can only figure out what size that vacuum thingy is

Yeah, my "gas filter" thingy-ma-bob has three ports and each is capped. Let me know what you stick in there klinetime so that I can remove it.

Header Gasket.

That header gasket will probably give you a headache 3 months from now.

I'd replace it with a Fel-Pro soon.

I know that thing is gonna fail. haha. nothing ever works perfect.

were all crazy for having these things :grinpimp:

For some real tech: Felpro is the best for header?

Ive got a MAF gasket on there now...They look similar to the Fel-Pros, except the Fel-Pros have some extra reinforcement around the flame rings.

If your running those headers from JTOutfitters, (Tri-Mil)...you may...may...have issues. About 4 months after mine went on, the warped - causing a bad exhaust/intake leak. I tig'd a bead towards the back og the header surface...than had them machined down. Now they are perfect.

I have headers made by Edelbrock :D Ti-Tech Coated :)
