The lineup in my head was me, John, Dave, Ted. But me and John are the only two committed to spots. Nick and Sid are guaranteed spot fillers but not actually fighting for a spot. They're positive alternates so-to-speak. You, Dave and Henry need to talk and get back to me. Of course we'll be able to talk about it around the campfire next weekend too hopefully. :)

I think they should have a dance fight to determine the winner.

Some good news for me: I'm going to be able to pick up the backhoe Sunday morning instead of Saturday it looks like. So that means I can wheel the full day instead of possibly getting delayed Saturday morning. Just won't be able to shoot any Sunday I guess - which kinda sucks. I just hope I can actually make it to D-Town by 9am. :)

:hhmm: Ted - you remember how to make the Rotel??? Hint Hint ;)

Making some progress finally. Got the crawler rack off the truck and got my sticker on finally. 12" x 3" sounded plenty big but sure ain't much when applied to the side of a big rig.

He's used to hearing that.
Guess so. Must be why I keep buying bigger and bigger toys. :o

Ted, did you see my hint/request a few posts up?

huh, what, sorry! Missed it I guess - not dedicating the amount of time on mud like I used to. call me a disgruntled employee :frown:

Hey sideline back to D-Town for a second... Does anyone that's coming have removable ramps on their trailer? I have a borrowed trailer that had some borrowed ramps and the ramps had to be returned... :frown: I can get the truck loaded up here without an issue but I don't think there's going to be a good place to unload at D-Town.

Sam-
Just how high is this trailer??? Not saying it's the right way, but I know lots of guys that drive on and off without the ramps. But if you have to, I'm sure you could back up to my big trailer or somebody else's and do a "stair step" kinda deal. Back onto a trailer with ramps then drive down those ramps.

That's exactly the problem. This trailer is stupid high. If it was a little lower or had a dove tail I could prob drive on and off no problem. I wanna say its like 22"? I'm working on trying to borrow some ramps but in case that falls through... I guess it's high time for me to just pony up and buy a trailer. All borrowing, bartering, renting, etc is for the birds. It'll have to be after this run tho.

Gotcha. I figured that must be the case. I wouldn't worry about it Sam, we'll get it off there. I can already think of a few ways even if I was the only other one there.

Cool. Thanks man.

You guys aren't going to believe this til you see it in person.....

I washed the big rig!! Yup, even got most of the old sticker residue off.

Still has all the faded "burn-in" in the paint from the old decals and all the baked-on vinyl on the hood and moonvisor though. Still though, cleanest it's looked since it had the wrap on it.

Heck yeah! Now you can get it all dirty again. :D

So do we have a head count for D-Town? Meet in the parking area at 9ish? :steer:
