Toting them where and for what? Moab run?
Nothing in particular yet. Maybe an event - Cruise Moab, Rubithon, MC Roundup - maybe an event of our own so we can cover more places with fewer trucks in the same time.

Don't get your hopes up though. I'd probably have to take 3 weeks off work to do all that driving and that may never happen.

I think the summer time would be a great time for that, because teachers are off ;-)

I'd be out anyway. There's no way I could ever take off that much time. It would be awesome tho. Maybe someday.

.

Rubithon of course!!!!

Where is everyone staying while at Superlift? Camping? Cabin? Hotel??
Still haven't heard any thoughts besides me and Sid.

Bueller....Bueller...Bueller...

That's a big honking trailer. What are the approx measurements?
It's 53' overall; 11' upper deck; 42' lower deck including the 5' dovetail; 102" wide I think; 45k# approximate GTW; I'm guessing the empty trailer is ~10k#.

When does registration open for this ride?
Open now; link posted above and on post #1.

Ya'll come on over guys! SCC is an awesome event and we always have fun! Live band and plenty of beer this year!

Jeff,
Dunno if you read any of the thread or not, but the Ga Cruisers should have a strong presence this year. They're making me spend a lot of money to get them there :steer:, but I'm gettin 'em there! Haha

Hey Steve --- I might follow you there, but I won't follow you once we get there!!!

Haha. Thanks Henry; I'll take that as a compliment!

Trailer deal is almost done. Just realized I'm gonna have to get a tag for it AND have to upgrade the tag on my truck too.

Hell yeah! Yall bring it! We'll supply the beer and good times!

Not really much more guessing or "maybe" anymore - deal is on! Just gotta decide when to pick up the trailer now.

There's only two spots available though and there's at least four people clamoring and on the fence so get with me soon if you want a spot.

I'll be camping for sure. Steve I don't know how everyone else feels about it but if you to bring that hunk'n trailer to Georgia I would think the club could get together and clean it up and sling some paint on that bad boy.

I'm guessing that most people will probably camp. The temps should be decent and most of us are cheap like that. :p

I called SORVP and saved the spot near the entrance for my semi. It's grassy and pretty flat next to the tree line and should be great for camping. The park said they'll probably just charge $10 (per night I think) for tent camping there if y'all want to do that. One catch is that we may not be allowed to have a fire there as it's nice and grassy for the most part.

I was kinda hoping for something like this actually. The weekend I come to get the trucks maybe we could spend Saturday trying to clean it up and make it a bit more presentable. Josh said I need to talk to John as he may have some extra wood decking from old docks I could get on the cheap. Need to see if it'll be stout enough wood though.

**UPDATE**

Here are my tentative dates for upcoming travels to Atlanta:

September 7-9: Pick up trailer in Tupelo, MS and backhoe in the area of Watkinsville, GA (Durhamtown day ride anyone?)

October 5-7: Pick up 3 trucks for SCC and possibly work on trailer?

Drop off TBD. However,, an option for drop off may be that I can take them all with me to GMP or CC on the first weekend in November and everyone could meet me there for the ride and then trailer their rigs home from there. Could be a win/win/win: 6 hours less driving for me, a little gas savings for y'all not trailering rigs one way, and a good excuse to get out to another event.
