Ken, not sure on the size but they were on there before I switched vent covers. The manual shows oval head 5 - 0.9p x 14
I want to say 5mm .09 pitch by 14mm

After a Quick Look in the parts book, there are several oval head 5 - .09 screws with different lengths throughout the early 40 & 45 rigs.
