What model is that? Also where did you find the wheels tires? After firewood processing duties I got the 55 out on the rocks today. View attachment 3778798
I also saw @ceby who I think needs to find this thread. He recently got sucked into the micro crawler world.
I built it myself with all scx24 aftermarket parts. The body was printed and painted by a friend of mine. The tires are from rc4wd, and the wheels are hardbody crawler co which is no longer in business. What model is that? Also where did you find the wheels tires?

The IFS one really has my attention
I will second the redcat ascent 18. I have 1 stock with some cheap injora tires/wheels, driveshafts (I broke a stock one) and an ir60 body. I have another that is built completely aftermarket and brushless. I was so impressed with the out of the box performance I decided to leave my fist one stock and just build another instead of upgrading it.The IFS one really has my attention
Also for the guys throwing around small crawler options, I'll put two others out there. The Redcat Ascent 18 is absolutely fantastic and with only heavy wheels and Injora HXH Pin tires it out-crawls all of my other mini crawlers. They're also on sale now for less than the pre-order price which is an absolute steal IMO.
There's also the FMS FCX24 and FCX24M which have portals and a two-speed gearbox. It's a PITA to work on but having high and low range out of the box is killer for a trail rig that sees some crawling duty. I've had a hell of a time fixing my FCX24 Power Wagon (still a WIP) but when it works it's a damn good time. Believe they're also on sale now.
That would be Awesome. If I end up with one, I want to put a Rusty Nail (ish) livery on it to match @landcrusher909's KOH rig

Nice, post pics! I've been eyeing those as well. Wish they'd throw the FCX24 Pro's brushless system into it.FCX18
For some reason I don't have any pics of it.Nice, post pics! I've been eyeing those as well. Wish they'd throw the FCX24 Pro's brushless system into it.
What happens if you try to do a discharge or storage cycle on that battery with the imax charger? Does it give any errors or beeps? Can someone help me out here? I’m not the brightest bulb some days.. but I can’t figure this one out.
This is on the fcx18. It normally has the cheap usb wall chargers however they won’t charge the battery as it is too drained I presume.
Actual battery voltage (and checked at terminals that plug to charger)
4.50v
Hook up the charger, set it on what I think are the right settings in balance mode.
Hit charge and it instantly shows that it is 8.4v and won’t attempt to charge.
Am I doing something wrong?
