It worked great over the handles. The only issue I had was not being able to open them. After it dried I used a razor blade around the handles and opened them. Haven't had any issues since.

Good to know, thank you, I would rather have them monstalined so great to know I can just cover them. I can't wait to do my whole truck in beige monsta, just need time and money!

Builds been delayed a little bit. I bought a turbo diesel. It was too good of a deal to pass up. Needs a little bit of work and I want to get it done before I continue to mods on the 80. The turbo diesel doesn't need anything major just need to rebuild the front end. New bed and extended doors. A small oil leak on top. Replace cab corners.

I would love to get a trailer and trail the 80 to the trails. It would be nice to be able to get 18 mpg. I would feel much more comfortable taking the family to Moab.

I hope to have the lift before the new year. Until then I'll continue to do little things with the 80. Need an oil change and I want to change the diff fluid. I extended the front diff breather and want to do the read diff, trans and transfer case.

Those 7.3 are beasts! Unfortunately Diesel Super Duty trucks are very pricey to maintain and they rot out real bad around here. Oil pan rotted out?

No the oil pans fine. The hpop is leaking. Need to replace it. Not sure I want too. The bed and extended doors need to be replaced. Needs new cab corners. Doors don't want to unlock (may need to actuators) Other than that it's good. Interior is in really good shape. Needs tires. Just did ball joints.

A quick update.

The 80 has been sitting in the garage. I had a small hole on the sidewall. I've ordered a replacement. It is supposed to come in today. I've also ordered a yellow box to recalibrate the speedometer. It should be in within the next week or two. I need to find time to remove the snorkel and mount the windshield frame bracket.

My goal is to have a rear bumper with tire carrier by spring and then a lift.

After cleaning your rig from playing in all that mud, i just bet the owner of the car wash you used to clean your truck just hates you, Ha Ha.

It will never be clean. I haven't been to the cliffs in years and I still have that cement like silty manure runoff mud packed in crevices.
Disconnecting your sway bars would have had zero effect.

Cliff's can be a muddy mess, but it is nice to be able to pack the family in the 80 and spend the afternoon there. Disconnecting my front sway bar made a huge difference on certain trails. I am now rubbing while flexing with the 315s and having the front sway bar disconnected but it is not horrible.
