I have an '03 with the "stronger diff." It is as strong as melted butter.
If you are going to do the work opening the diff, I'd advise you put a locker in there for added strength, otherwise, just to change for an 03+ OEM diff, don't waste your money.

Yep, I've got my locker just have not installed it. We had a 98 on the trail and snapped the front diff, sound was terrible, I cringe everytime I see the video.

Tell me the good and bad about the rear access from the windows.

FYI: I recently added a locker up front and it just adds a whole new get up the tough stuff to my rig.

I love, love, love my emuwings I cannot say enough good things about them. I have a Dometic fridge with a side opening lid and I can reach in and grab a beer from the emuwing with out using the fridge slide. When I sleep in the truck I leave them unlocked and push them out and have my own personal balcony. I reach in them more so than opening the tailgate now, and I can reach anything and everything in the trunk area, where as before I couldn't reach stuff behind the seats, and had to get on my knees and climb in.

If I had anything negative to say about them is if you rig is a fancy pants, well the inside of them is not fancy. Big hinges inside the truck are not exactly eye candy they stick out like 2 inches (haven't hit my head or anything but they do stick out) and the windows are safety glass so they are not completely smooth where the injection holes are. None of that really matters to me. Love them thangs and they are totally worth the coin. If you have dual swing outs and have to open 4 things to get to the inside of the truck, emuwings will make your life much much easier.

Big thanks for the details, I have dual swings and I miss the quick in and out..... I try for a clean look but fancy pants is a big "not me".

I'm planning the same thing soon. It will be my 1st time doing my own rotors. The front ones, look like a long process. FSM will be my home work for awhile.

And.... welded.... I was really nervous about doing this because the bumper is already perfect, but I really wanted his prototype look. Really happy with the results.

@benc the welder I used, was intimidated by your welds! he said "did a robot machine make these welds?" haha, he used a mix of weld/heliarc, said he was nervous about his welds being next to yours and standing out haha!

Ok, so I wanted to update on 2 things.

1. If anyone wonders if you can have the dissent rear and gobi ladder answer is.. you can. Barely but, you can. See pic. I really wanted it to work out as I really use that ladder.

2. After fridge, single drawer, TT storage lid, Dissent rear and tire I'm sagging in the back by an inch. I have 866s in the rear which are supposedly 1.5" over stock heavies. I'm currently at 21.5 hub to fender in the front and 20.5 hub to fender in the rear.

Going to try the 863s. See what that does

Looking good Christian!
The tire carrier is meant to be able to be flipped either way depending on desired height, if you flipped the carrier over it should give you a little more room for the ladder but will also lower the tire a bit.
In other words the 2 lug nuts would be on top and 1 on the bottom, Also the high-lift tray is upside down ;)

Haha... Thanks Ben. I'll fix the tray. I tried the tire bracket upside down, I didn't like the tire so low . I love my bumper, I stare at it a lot.

Now lets go out and beat it up at Jamboree :)

Alright I have been slacking on updates....

First, I did install 863's in the rear to help remedy the sagging, that however did not take care of the driver side lean so I had to add ARB spacer to the driver side. Now truck is dead even.
