@cruiserdan You’re good coming from that direction as long as there aren’t any issues I’m unaware of on those roads north of I-70.
@yarncruiser You should tell the class on the build date of that FJ80. I think Dom’s right that it’s certainly very early, possibly one of the first. It’s also got thee best 80 color scheme.
@Zeus0623 I may have an available set coming in from Australia in the next 1-2 months. Currently all the sets I’m bringing over are pending, but we’ll see.
Matilda is all set to go, we’re rolling out in an hour.
Way less stuff on the roof rack with the new storage/drawer/platform system in the back. +0.25mpg hopefully! @Zeus0623 speaking of sliding windows - see photo above. 100% superior to the fixed glass windows if you appreciate airflow, have a dog, or like easy access to quick-grab stuff the cargo area.
We’ll be off grid until Sunday when we roll into the KOA. Safe travels everyone!

From KOA just now and they will get me another update this afternoon:
The floods and mudslides have not impacted the campground directly. We are open and without damage. 550 is currently closed between Ouray and Silverton due to clean-up operations due to multiple mudslides on the road. We don't have an estimate on when it will re-open. We check the COtrip planner app and website for updates. Thanks! -Kara
