That sounds like a great way to go. At the time of my build this was one area where I was not certain which way to go....you have a very nice build and your choices have been very close to what I did.

Wow. I have never seen this FJ-45 until today. Remarkable and timely that is resurfaced right now because you will be able to help me with my next decision on the Goat.

So......can you take some pictures of the way you mounted the brake booster? Did you use a spacer? Where did you put the oil filter? My brakes suck and I sure would love to have disc brakes.

No, not yet. I have not put my new wing window rubber in yet. If and when I go back to the 65 doors vs the 75 doors, I will need to get the sets done in the coral. I think I have just enough.

Nolan, I bought a spacer for the brake booster so I didn't have to cut the rib on the firewall. Can't remember where but I can look at my paper work in a few days. Also used an FJ60 brake booster and brake master.

I used a complete 77 front end with new brakes, axles, seals and new Aisin hubs. I bought a brake proportion valve from Roger @cityracer. Works great. My buddy Made a mount so we could keep the valve in an area that would for me and looked right.

I'm using the remote spin on oil filter set up that was stock on an FJ40. It was only around for a few years. Kinda hard to find....

Here's a few photos, if you need more let me know.

Yeah, I'm really liking my 75 doors. Very functional with no rattles and nice new OEM door panels to march seats. Have both sets of doors is overkill, but it's what I needed to do at the time.

Here's where we mounted the factory spin on oil filter. Also included a photo of the rest tailgate bumpers that I cut down from the later versions that you put on Goat. Cut them down on a band saw and hand filed the edges. Just like OEM.

I have decided to put the custom license plates on the wall. I've installed a pair of killer original plates that are period correct and have cool brilliant colors.

Thanks Dom..

What a gorgeous truck. Inspiration. ....

Thanks, there are a lot of very nice trucks on here on Mud, it's where I get my 45 inspiration as well. Everyone likes pictures so I don't mind sharing.

G'day Mark, with your 60 series PS - what did you do for an intermediate shaft? Also, did you cut and spline the steering shaft and set a bearing in it? Did you harden it as well? Cheers, Daniel

Moved Sage into the garage with the daily driver. Put about 40 miles on her today and plan on a few more tomorrow.
