Got the "usual" cold reception from Capistrano Valley Toyota upon bringing the hundy in for SRS intermittent dash warning light.

to be honest, I also wanted to trouble shoot parasitic electrical issue along with request to retorque spark plugs (service rep says this is never a problem.....counter to mud).

In a off-handed manner says each of above is $200+ just to entertain (that's $600 just to breath). No attempt to assess what was most important for me....Turned around and drove out.

Soooooo, my priority is obviously the intermittent srs issue. Anybody know of a shop that is known for tracking down SRS issues. I'll gladly hand over some $$$ as honest and no BS.....as in I know enough to be dangerous.

Yours truly

Check with the Truck Shop or SD Trux (my recommendation is SD Trux). El Cajon Toyota has also been very good to me as a cruiser owner if you're looking for dealership.

Most dealers don't have old school techs that can trouble shoot and diagnose. they just R&R whole parts/systems. that's it. Can try Hiro's in Costa Mesa. Not a cruiser shop, but some go there. Japanese specialist.

most excellent. will investigate both oc referals and report back.

anything south of oc/pendelton line is outside my wheelhouse from a logistics pov.
