yea... we'll be there... looks like itll be fun.

That's a hell of a combo, Kathy. If any pair of guys are going to make it through this week, it'd be those two. But you already knew that, huh?

That's why the dog and I will be staying home this trip. Bill and the girls will have a blast. Chrystal is with him, Emily and Jennifer will follow on Thursday afternoon on foot from Loon. What better way to spend fathers day weekend.

If anyone has an open seat please give Em and Jen a ride over the water...please :)
Kathy

I don't recall getting a confirmation in the mail this year...did my check bounce again?

My friend, you got a frick'en phone call! What more do you want?

The phone call stated... I am offering refunds but I know you are going regardless.

besides, your checks bounce every year and we still let you in. :) (joking of course).

confirmations quit going out June 1 or there about, and phone calls took their place.

See you there, and drive safe!

Tony

I just heard they were in to the springs 10-1/2 hours of sludge fest and lots of winching. I said they needed to go back and forth another 20 times to pack it in and clear it for us....:steer: be there bright and early.

Well, I was on 80 East and the phone rang, daughter in ER with possible apendisitis. Rubithon may be over for me this year already.

I hope your daughter does not have appendicitus! And it has nothing to do with you and Rubithon! :)

Kids! They're a growing concern.

Hey all, I've had a very late change of plans and I won’t be able to make it to the wagon run tomorrow. If anyone who is reading this and is going the run tomorrow please let Andy know. Have a great time and be safe. Thanks, Rick C.

fine spline? if so I have one and will bring it if needed (fine spline meaning its out of a 88 fj 60) call me at 661 3503689

Thanks everyone for clearing the trail! Going up with a local club July 4th (hopefully 40 will be ready by then).

(and Woody broke something?? I am shocked!) :D

looks like they may have found a 3rd member for Woody. While dropping off kids at the trail head this morning, 55 Guy had a spare on his trailer....talk about being prepared!
The drive up was absolutely beautiful.

Just got back after an exit out Cadillac this am. It took 4 hours to get from the springs to the Staging area. I had to winch myself twice, and a minitruck attempting to come in, once. All in all, not really that bad. There is some deep snow and lots of deep water, but I think the worst of the snow is over.

In our group, the only real carnage was a broken spring on a 40 on the slabs above Buck Island.

Ross is fixed and mobile with his 3rd member.

BK flopped mildly in Little Sluice and won big in the Raffle.

Mudrak ran Little Sluice-unfortunately I didn't see it.

Jim B is still sleeping and recovering from last night's Tequila tasting.

My 60 had an excellent maiden voyage.

I liked the small group atmosphere this year.

Hoping everyone made it out safe and sane!

Back in LA after a 14+ hr drive (trail & street). This was the best Rubithon I have been to yet! The snow was only found at the end of trail after observation point and it was awesome. HUGE runs through mud and water, not to mention a few 3 wheeled flop friendly situations.

A Big thanks to Tony, all the Rubithon committee members who made the event possible, and Andy (cruiserdrew) for running the Wagon run. Pics to follow

Glad to hear all my wagon Buddies made it out in good time. It took me 10 hour to get to Loon thanks to over 4 hurs of trail fixes for another in our group. Still it was agreat time time and I want to thank the Wagon group for letting me tag along, and Tony and the rest of the committee members for keeping this thing going!.
