......and the vultures have landed.......

Glad to hear you're OK. Pretty impressive to patch it back together enough to drive it! I appears to be an interesting rollover because the rack and skis and everything on top is still intact. Pretty much only the front end and windshield. The doors look pretty clean.

If it were me, I'd shop for a replacement front clip, have the wrk done on the roof and RR by a body shop. My truck is at 221K and I can't even think about a different one if this were to happen. Wait to see what insurance does for you and maybe you can buy it back and do it yourself.....

Good Luck!

You must have just rolled on the hood? Roof rack is Undamaged? Wow, very lucky. My 94 was not so lucky in its rollover.

Time to make it a dedicated trail rig now.

I have a '93 that was t-boned on the right side, but the whole front clip is fine...I'm also only a little over an hour from Harrisburg...PM me if you plan to rebuild.

Rebuild it. It just made it 6 hrs home after rolling. What do you think would have happened if you were driving a mini van and the same thing happened? It may not be perfect from now on but now it has a story to tell.

I guess it would depend on your level of modifications and your enjoyment of doing that sort of thing. I enjoy doing rebuilds and bringing something back to life (mechanically), so I do that for my entertainment.

Good luck!

BTW: How ARE the visors?!?!?!?!?.................

I'm actually living in Annvile/ Lebanon area now, but still pretty close. PM is forthcoming

I'm of the same school of thought so we'll be rebuilding this one and doing some cool mods along the way. Thanks for the encouragement. Sun visors are f$&@?!% perfect, BTW.

There is one tiny crack across the non-visible corner of the sunroof (hidden inside by plastic trim). Also, there's a couple small dents up by the passenger front near the windshield, but I don't think it'll effect the seal. Also the cross bars are bent and were moved along the drip rail on impact. Had to straighten them out to put the skis back up there.

Not pictured in some photos is the POS WAAG brush guard I reluctantly installed last month. Previous owner had installed it. I removed it and just recently put it back on for the heck of it. Pretty sure that's what ruined the passenger fender. Those things are useless. Mine went in the dumpster at Ciccone & Sons.

Just curious if you have a rear auto locker installed that could have contributed to the rear suddenly shifting during the lane change?

Nope, no auto locker. This truck has factory e-lockers. The truck was in high range, center diff unlocked at the time of the accident. Some people up at Killington lodge told my family that the slush on the mountain gets really tricky and causes accidents all the time. Also the wrecker driver said it was getting icy up higher. Who knows exactly what happened. Maybe I just misjudged the conditions and nothing could have prevented it.

Liar..... They are NOT perfect....none of them are! That's why we are all looking for the magic replacement donor vehicle! (Or go with the airplane visors!)

I would be willing to bet that the largest contributor to this loss is having the NEW tires on the front. Do some research here (and elsewhere) and it shows that you should ALWAYS place the tires with the most tread on the REAR of the vehicle for stability in adverse conditions and handling. Seems counter-intuitive on 4WD and FWD vehicles, but it has been proven.

Yeah, who knows maybe that was it. I wanted to be able to stop and turn, so I put them up front but if there's science proving that wrong, hey I'll listen... Honestly I've said it already but I shoulda just put 4 on. I'm gonna spend the money now anyway and some, and then I wouldn't have put my loved ones in danger. And the visors aren't perfect maybe but they're really nice. Anyone shopping for visors just eat your heart out.

Glad yOn and the young ones are safe.

How fast were you going when the accident happened?

Glad to hear that everybody is OK

PS. My visors are perfect as well

Speed limit was 50. I know I was going 45 moments before I saw the bus, but had to slow even more and that's why I decided to pass it. So probably about 40-45 mph.
