Well that makes complete sense. We all gotta work on where we're lacking. My driving skills are fine so I work on the truck to keep up. You, on the other hand.... Hahahaha

But all joking aside, your truck would've probly driven up and over pretty easily too - just not by itself.

Any idea what your final gear ratio is now Steve? Do you have 2.28 x 3 or what?

Sent from another Galaxy

Final is about 511:1 now. Same as it was before, 2.28+4.7, just added another stock 2.28 crawl box in front.

That's ridiculous in a good way.
Thanks. I agree completely. It's crazy, but it's fun and very functional. Believe it or not, the extra slow speed actually came in quite handy; even more so than I expected. The flat belly has a spectacular effect too. Everything I came upon that my skid hung on last year, I walked right up and over this year - I was ecstatic at how well it worked (amplified by the fact that it was all designed and fabricated by me).

I thought you said adding the third t-case was to fix your power steering isues? but in that video all i can hear is that damn pump screaming! maybe you should add a second trans :D

Yes, it's now quite apparent that the pump or the box or both need a little help, but what you saw but didn't realize is that the truck didn't die when I was putting all that demand on the system. Before I would have to be inside revving the motor to utilize the steering. So my plan DID work - but you know as well as I do that SOMEthing is ALWAYS in need of tweaking or fixing. Guess that'll get added to the to-do list for before GSMTR.:wrench:

I gotta do something. Although my current pump is a high pressure Trail-Gear pump already. I dunno if I need to rebuild the pump or the steering box. I'm leaning towards the pump though. (I mean, it IS a TG product)
