Sid, are you the only one going still? I'm sure you're trailering yourself at this point, but when are you heading over? I'm just wondering who I'm gonna know Wednesday during the day if I get there early; Roger and Rob aren't getting in til late Wednesday. Guess I should see who's coming from the CLC crowd; that may answer my question.

My son and I are leaving Tuesday morning early. Getting hotel in east Texas that night. Picking up Christina at Love Field (or Charles might pick her up for me) and then hooking up with Charles and driving down to Llano/Mason.

Cool. So you'll probly be getting in between late lunch and dinner time maybe?

I'm excited that Rob is coming because I think he'll be like me and you and want to be wheeling every waking moment. I love the wheeling there anyway, but for how long of a drive it is, I want to see every inch I can. On those same lines, do you have any idea why they don't allow early wheeling? I love going to big events early but only because I can wheel so much more. If the rock there wasn't so amazing, this trip would be very hard to justify.

I agree Steve, the park is amazing, especially for someone like you with nerves of steel/or a loose lug nut or two. LOL!!

As far as early wheeling goes... I have no idea. As easy going as that whole crowd is, that appears to be one rule that they stick to.

Me!?!?! Did you wheel any with Shane with the portal axles? There was a couple spots I didn't even TRY to follow him! That dude WHEELS! And his buddy in the Zuk-based buggy on stickies went up some stuff that shouldn't have been possible with his short wheelbase. I hope they're there again.

Just seems strange that if I show up early I can't just pay for extra days of wheeling. I'd do just like GSMTR and show up a few days early. Especially weird is that the park is open Wednesday but you can't wheel . 3 full days is good, but 4 would be great. And supposedly there's no wheeling Sunday morning now either; I was planning on that too. :censor:

Jrob and I will be there Wed afternoon. We are going to drink and wheel a little. lol

I hope to be there by Wednesday afternoon too. Mind if I pull up a chair? I'll need to drown my sorrows Wednesday because of the long drive and not being able to wheel that day.

Sure you can bro! You know you are always welcome at the CLC camp!

Hot Damn!!!... 2 weeks to go!!! Been a while since I came over to what was going on with ya'll. I usually get there on Wed. also, but I'm not sure if they let anyone out of the campground area before Thursday morning. It is a "working' ranch although, to this date, I have yet to see any cattle (plenty of turds though), but that doesn't mean they are not herding them to a different area of the ranch that day (maybe the reason). But late in the afternoon...maybe, you will just have to check with Randy and see, but usually, no wheelin' on Wednesday is what I have been told. I know at the old K1 you could sqeeze in a quick run on Wednesday, but now it is different property and owners, so... But I could be wrrrr....wrrrrrr.....darnit!!! wrong!!!

I didn't realize that about it being a working ranch; it all makes a lot more sense now, thanks. I do recall seeing the cows locked up behind the fence at that one corner though (by Cyclops?); they sure did look as though they wanted to say "when the hell we getting back outta here?". I also remember their little souvenir piles everywhere too.

Getting excited!! Just not looking foward to the drive.
Ditto - On both accounts!

Propane running good W.L.??

Purrs like kitten!!! I'm kinda excited to see how it will do. Thought I'd have a chance for a shake down run before Round up, but it never happened, so Round Up will be the shake down run...again... Got a few other issues resolved, so I'm hoping this outing will be much better than SCC for my truck.

You will be amazed at the difference.

You're welcome to join me at Superlift that Monday for my shakedown run - might be a tad bit outta the way for you I guess.

Got all the repairs and the third case installed Steve?
Yessiree. :)

Only major hurdle left is to build the belly pan this weekend. Other than that, if I put the wheels on, it's fully driveable. Although, Like WL, I'm a wee bit nervous about not having a shakedown prior to Katemcy. Hence why I'm gonna try to hit up SORVP Monday before I see my buddy Jordan that night for some horse trading and . If I break something, we can scrounge to get it repaired that night. Otherwise, I'll have some time Wednesday to tinker.

But hey, why think negative - it ain't gonna break anyway!

Look anything like this?
Thankfully, no.

The MUD app won't let me upload pics or I'd send you one now. I'm actually installing the triple stick right now.
