Very Cool Mark. I really like the truck. The fuel tank and the rear drawer system. Also you have some really good pics its hard to get good angles that really show off what a cruiser can do etc. I would like to here and see more about the drawer system what is the plan? do you like it etc.?

Great pics. Don't forget to post your storage solution in the storage thread.

Every time I drive through San Juan Capistrano, I like to stop at the El Adobe restaraunt. Nice little town.

Looks like a very rocky bit of country you live in there.Looks like good fun though.Nice wagon.

Taz,
awesome rig, and great write up. I'm looking forward to reading about the other aspects of your rig as the week goes on.

I had a feeling the 4+ rear would bring about some talking considering they are retardedly slow when it comes to manufacturing them and the wait time is over 1 month.

I'm a big fan of how the bumper looks, and now performs although the swing outs were a let done with how they failed to function well.

Nice build, hope to see it in person sometime soon.

I wouldn't worry about that rear cross member too much. It doesn't support anything ie suspension or body mounts. It just holds the frame straight at the back. The new 4"x4" cross member looks alot stronger than the stock one. I've had it for three years and see NO signs of problems with the welds etc.

Hey Mark, killer thread! Lots of great info and wheeling pics, I love it.

Did you make any templates for your gas tank when you built it? Any other pics showing the filler neck and such? I want to do a aux tank bad and building one seems like a great idea.

BTW, thanks for all the PM's with great info regarding my upcoming lift, I really appreciate it.

Taz,

I am also interested in more detail on the tank. What type of material is it and did you chemical etch or coat the interior?

Nice truck!;)

Mark:

I just looked the blue line of the Jan. issue of 4Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine. In the article "Rubithon 06" there is a shot of you trying to squeeze by a large rock.
