Wow!

Can we see pictures of the multi gear boxes, how you did that? How you managed to fit it and a drive shaft on the same 40.

Can we see pictures of the suspension details? Connection points etc.

Pictures of the motor?

My interest is peaked.

Sweet rig Mace-

I would dig a close up of the sliders if you start snapping shots your rig. Looks good, I assume it is your daily driver? ;)

I'll snap pics of the front and rear suspension tomorrow..

ok, care to explain the turbo pic... i couldn't follow the plumbing

lol SQUARE BEZEL :) real fj40

any boost numbers?

turbo info see post 10, draw thru setup.

curious on how the floor turned out?

Square is the only way to go...

Up to 12 psi max that I have seen. But that is reving the holy cow out of the motor..

Floor is not finished yet ;)

Mace has a sweet rig, handled the dunes at JV better than Rascal's pos TBI 350 ;)

I want him to either run a close ratio 4 speed (H42) or get an auto. He cannot really get the best out of the boost on that turbo....just not as fun to drive with the SM420.

His list of to-dos would be DONE if he had not pulled a GROGAN and bought a second rig to dump money into

Great truck, goes exactly where he points it.

That is unles the 14 bolt tell it to stop ;)

do you have a dyno sheet for that mother? how much torque is it making?

Well, numbers are 142 RWHP and 221 RWTQ in 4 th gear.

Now, keep in mind that I am running this through an old ass SM420/ dual tcases/ and a 14 bolt.

4.11 gearing

A stock mustang loses about 50 hp between the motor and wheels. my rig loses a lot more.

So safely 200+ hp and I don't know what torque would be at the Flywheel.

To put those rear wheel hp numbers in perspective...

When mine was 5 years old, about 30K miles on it, the head had been milled, desmogged, I put on the full Downey performance package as it existed then, headers, 2.5" exhaust, Holley 250 CFM, K&N aircleaner, non-US advance distributor. It was running pretty good, passed emissions tests, got 15 mpg, could squack (more than a chirp, less then smoking) 33" tires with stock gearing. I took it into a well known hot rod shop to have them check my set up for optimum jetting, and anything else they could set better. They said it was set up very well, as good as they had seen any LC with the 2F still in it. Their dyno run showed 85hp at the rear wheels at 4500rpms.

Dam..

Mine has well over 150 K on it. And the propane was not optimized ;)

Thanks for the perspective!!!

I wish I had Dynoe'd mine before I did the turbo..

excuse my ignorance but what measurement of torque is that... i'm used to neuton meters, so that sounds low...
