I see 15-20 thousand dollars in damage.

Wheel it like you stole it, that's all you have left.:frown:

haha, sorry about that, but i couldent help to notice the bud heavy in your hand on the 2nd pic. that diddent have anything to do with the roll did it? jk

i think the $900 offer is as good as it'll get. post it in the for sale section with a tag of like, 1000 obo

Man a bunch of vultures around here, calling dibs for parts before the engine is even cold. :flipoff2: Kidding, I know you all just want to help.

Hmm... If you cut it, buy an aftermarket windshield off of a fold down window 40 or heep and bolt it on.

I bet you could striaghten the windshield frame enough to hold glass. Maybe not water tight, but I bet you could do it. Do that and cut off all the top and all other windows left. Take out any good glass and sell it, and sell the upper hatch section if it is intact as it appears.

Good ideas, IMHO easiest would be a full cage front to back (neccessary if you follow Doc's advise) and a piece of Polyethylmethylsomething (forgot real name) plexi that they use for Nascar windshields and attach flat piece (much cheaper) to the "windshield area" you created with the cage and voila, street legal trail rig. Make a bikini top and you will even stay somewhat dry. Oh swap the front doors if you want to retain the roll up windows. Man I wish I had more 80's to build and the money to actually do it. :D

cdan's advice (gospel ;) ) would obviously negate traditionally fixing it to pre-roll condition. If there is sentimental attachment Christo's option would be very nice.

Some thoughts, hoping it helps your bad situation.

Cheers

It's impressive that the sunroof glass is still intact! Perhaps it's shattered but staying together?

It's still driveable dude. Kick the roof up and go windshield less. I heard that chicks dig this sort of thing or at least that's what my Tshirt says anyway!

Good luck,

Ali

hmmm... r o l l i n g.

It happens :D

I'd agree with Christo, get the body shell and go to town.

Or sawzall works too. Yes it is lots of work but you get what you want.

If you are going to part it let me know there's a few things I need.... and a few I don't but replacements are always nice

This is the way you post pictures using links to your web site.
