Met him at Pismo a few years back, asked for a ride and he replied "just take it out". Although very kind to offer I did not, great guy.

Hi jack over, great build.

I do like how you shaped your rear fender cuts. Should give lots of clearance. I am going to be pushing my rear axle back a ways with 37's or 39's so I will need to do lots of cutting. I like how he had welded in that tube for strength. Plus it just looks good!

Got the set up kit from a local Toyota dealership a while ago. It helps to have Toyota motor corp headquarters down the street

That knuckle setup kit is really awesome!! Where'd you get your hands on th.;at?

the stupid bolt in the middle close to the trunion was an attempt at a built in bearing/steering arm removal system.

spent most of the weekend cleaning the shop and making room for the truck. It took about 6 hours. Got rid of a lot of crap nearly a full dumpster bin full.

DSCN1816.webp

Now that the truck doesn't have to move I can start working on the front 3 link/panhard

Forgot the camera on this operation but took a couple pics of the finished product.

I had to add 8 inches on the drag link and 4 inches on tie rod ao it was buy new tub and run single sheer heims or find a right and left hand 7/8 18 tap for the GM tie rod ends which was about 150 bones for the left.

So I decided to machine a filler piece for both and welded it together, then sleeved them with 1.5 OD 120 wall. rosette welds to keep in place and couple of roll pins for security.

machined down the welds. machined two lines on the left side

runnin r/h threads on both ends isn't the end of the world... if you need to adjust, just loosen the nuts a turn and run the steering wheel back and forth and it pops 1 ton tres no problem.
