Rick did the swap from stock solenoids to this Albright go smoothly? Physically does it mount inside the box OK? And I assume you retained the original socket that your hand controller plugs into is that correct? I'd love to do this upgrade on my 40 even though the 8274 on it works fine as is. Thanks for posting up the pictures!!!!

Yes the Albright solenoid pack are easy to setup and let me know if you need any help. I am planning on mounting the solenoid pack somewhere in the engine bay and trying to figure out how I want to run the controller. There are 2 ways to have controls of the winch 1) the 12 volt guy switch on/off switch with a Rocker switch 2) try to rig a wireless remote to the Albright solenoid. But more to come when I install the winch on the bumper.

In cab controls are nice but there is value in being able to operate it outside with the remote too.

Finally found a nice set of SCS RAY10 wheels 17x9 3.5BS and -38mm offset with a set of used Toyo MT 12.5x35 R17. So finally got some time to fix the cam tabs with the Total Chaos cam tab gussets with the cam delete tabs that I have installed earlier and welded the strut mount reinforcement from Eimkeith. Next I was able to replace my old inner and outer tie rods,

then time to tub the fender well to fit the 35s.

Busy as ever, Rich, nice job!

Hell yeah brother looks amazing! Rich what’s up with the red inner cv boots?

They are the alternative to the stretch CV boot mod using the OEM boots. So these are the silicone inner boots from Off Road Solution that give the extra boot length so the CV boots are not over stretched.

Built my rear bumper using a Curtis Hitch. I read a lot of 4runner forums and on the 3rd Gens they flip the OEM hitch. So I decided build my own version using my Curtis hitch and some tube and steel plate I found at a salvage yard.
