It has been a while since my last post on the 3rd Gen. I finally got my garage organized enough after the move to North Carolina to do some work on the 3rd Gen. I installed new upper ball joints, cleaned and inspected lower ball joint, installed new Solo Motorsports lower control arms, and install a set of RC Fabrication greaseable cam bolts.

What's the advantage of the LCA's?

These LCA push the ball joint forward to gain 2-3 degrees of caster to allow bigger tires and provide better ground clearance than the stock control arms.

Are the cams locked into a permanent position and required different plates to adjust camber caster?

Yes, these are permanent settings base off the current alignment of the 3 rd Gen. This kit is made by Poly Performance but there's another kit through Solo Motorsports that uses hexagon plates.

I had issues when I started wheeling with camber bolts getting kicked out of alignment and or bent cam tabs so I did upgraded my cam tabs with the Taco Tabs to strengthen the cam settings and added the Poly Performance cam delete kit. Then the recent install of the greasable bolts to hopefully make it easier to service.
