Is a wireless winch a must? I found a Platinum 12S locally but my VR 12 on my superduty works just fine at half the price.
Thanks! Yes, having it not match exactly would drive me nuts. Powder coat can be customized where they try to match as closely as possible, but I don't think anyone has explored this yet to see how close they can actually get (likely difficult to match our 3-layer paint). If I could get guaranteed exact-match powder coat (or at least close), I would have done it that way.

Wireless sure is convenient. I know that wireless winches can be a controversial topic, but man once you have it there's no turning back. But it's definitely not required as long as you're willing to either relocate the winch control box or gain access to the box through the shroud above the grille.

I did not relocate my control box (even though it came with long enough cables to do it), so if I ever need to use my hardwired cable I have to open the hood and pop the top plastic shroud piece that guides air through the radiator. But I'm okay with that - those push-to-remove / push-to-install plastic clips are crazy easy to work with (and I have a bag of extras in my ARB drawer), and it means I don't have a control box taking up space in the engine bay when under normal operating conditions there would be no reason to have it in the engine bay.

And in my opinion, any wireless winch purchase should only be made if the hardwired cable remote is included (as a backup if the wireless remote dies / fails for any reason).

Guys, I got a Rhino 4X4 bumper for my 21 Heritage and I am just now getting it ready to have installed. I found a ComeUp winch SEAL Gen 2 12.5RS SLIM. Does anyone know if this winch would still fit. The mounting holes are the same. Thanks ! Mike

Yes, that's the same winch I have. You do have to follow the instructions to disassemble and rotate the clutch handle and control box mount (the two sides of the winch) 90 degrees.

I may have one available if someone is interested. Also traveling from New Mexico to Bandon Oregon if someone along the route is looking. I decided to not put bumpers on our 200 series for the foreseeable future. Its a 2016 Plus Face lift model.
If you happen to detour to Denver or even further east toward Kansas City, let me know. I’d definitely be interested. Thanks

For those of you looking to order a bumper from Rhino4x4 Argentina, my timeline was something like first emailed them 5 Apr had some back and forth questions for options etc that generally had about a 3-4 day turnaround each time. I placed the order and got a payment received confirmation 31 May ( Wire went through on may 3rd). The only time I was a little irritated was from 31 May to 25 Jul I didn't get any updates and the sales rep Paula didn't respond to my emails, on 10 Aug I finally got a tracking number and just received everything Sep 1st. I am in Alaska which slows shipping a bit but the bumper was also stuck in Argentinian customs for a couple weeks.
I paid $1685 ish for the bumper plus $600 ish shipping, which I was pretty happy with considering getting a bumper from a US vender who quoted $2300 just in freight for something similar.

We are getting the bumper installed and I now have a question. The front plastic skirt see pic. What have you guys done with it ? Trimmed or just remove it ?

I don’t have the plastic parts that bolt to the rhino bumper. 🤬

Rhino should take care of you if the parts were flat out missing. Chat with them on WhatsApp. They were very responsive when I contacted them about missing parts.

Everything should stay together just fine without those covers installed, but you might end up getting some unwanted debris up in there. BTW, they are metal, not plastic (Rhino folks might be confused if you say you're missing a plastic part).

This is the missing part (not counting the small Allen-head bolts, washers, nuts)

Thanks !

Just heard back from Rhino and Ben said that the missing part was added at a later date and that I would have to pay $190 Aus. Plus shipping. 🤬
Anyone have a good pic of this part ? I’ll just make them.
If I would have known that, the bumper would have been sold and I would have bought something else.

Ah okay, Rhino Australia instead of Argentina, I wonder if that makes a difference with the level of support.

You could easily fabricate one yourself. They are perfectly flat except for the lip that folds straight up at the back. There's really not much to them.

This is the best photo I have of them not installed:

By comparison, you can see that this photo really does show the whole thing, too:

Tried to send you a pm, if you still have the bumper I'm interested. I'm up in Denver...

I’ve sent him 2 PMs a while back with no response.

Such a good looking bumper. Is that factory white? I have the pearl white US color and wonder if color match or black would look better

I had the wings powder coated white and then painted the factory pearl white.
