So I asked about a group buy and this is what I got:

We tried to make a buy group, but it is nos so easy as you say. We can offer a 5% discount for more than 15 units purchase.

About the shipping cost, if we load a LCL by sea will be much more cheaper than by air. It takes more days than an airfreight but it is much more cheaper. Maybe some in the groupe knows a forwarder in USA and we can arrange it.

5% and longer to arrive doesn't really seem like it's worth the hassle honestly, but that's just one mans opinion.

I don't think that 5% discount will cover the cost that you'll incur from shipping the bumpers to all the recipients from the "forwarder in USA". I think I vaguely remember this problem coming up last time people discussed a potential group buy, where the numbers just didn't add up to benefit anyone.
 
I wonder if we can do a regional buy. Like if we can can get a few here in southern California. I can arrange it and we can all pick up from one location.

Wonder how many they need to do a container. Not a full but maybe a partial load….

Yeah 5% isn’t the issue. The shipping is like 500 I think.
 
I believe the 5% is strictly a quantity discount. You can further save by consolidating orders and shipping to one port by sea rather than individually to each buyer by air. Domestic freight may negate any savings however.

If there’s enough buyers close to a single port, and they are able to pick up from one warehouse, then it would be worth it for those buyers to consolidate. You wouldn’t need 15 combined orders. Any number should do. Only drawback would be the wait times.
 
you are going to have to pickup at a freight dock. The home option will be expensive since it needs a fork lift.

Ask them if you can pay in pesos locally and the price per bumper in argentine pesos. The problem is they get shafted on the exchange rate since its a wire transfer.

I’m looking at this Bumper too. I’m in San Diego if anyone wants to see if we can order a few together for one delivery cost and then local pick up.
 
LCL means less than container load. Basically any number will meet the minimum. The more bumpers, the cheaper it should be per bumper.
 
I’ve told them I’m not interested in the 5% off they offered based on the feedback here. Im still interested in a bumper …. Just may have to buy on my own
 
K. Pm me if in so cal. Ill start a list. I’ll reach out to find out what critical mass we need. Can someone look into the pay in local currency option too. I’m in LA and most likely will offload here. So I can try to manage order if it happens.
 
Does anyone have a pic of this bumper installed with black powder coat instead of body matched paint? I’ve just cracked my factory bumper and need a full replacement bumper…and this is one of the few, especially for a pre-2016.

On an LX so there was some cutting involved this is a 16+ bumper..
 
Got a reply from rhino.

Told them 4 bumpers maybe 5 to LA.
They working on a shipping quote via container.

I also asked for a quote in pesos to see if we can get a better exchange rate.
