Took my speedometer out to see if I could get odometer working. It had 96100 on it when I got it. After a couple tanks of gas before retiring into the garage it still read the same. Tenths of mile worked great, just nothing else moved. ,think I might have figured it out and starting reassembly. Think I’ just start it at all zeros.

Yeah PB blaster home brew

Spent Thursday in the shop. Tunes on, wood stove going, electric heater by front end. Started putting driver side knuckle back together. Made pretty good progress until I realized the conewashers for the steering arm were MIA. Got the hub and new rotor together, then had to stop. Found a set in Springfield , so should be here mid week. Hoping to get lift install finished, so I can use it for welding floor supports in. Always something to slow/halt progress. Plenty left to do, so another part of the rework might be in order while waiting on cone washers.

That’s for sure! But it is worth it to drive one of the coolest vehicles produced. Scrapdaddy, Jmack, Megadoomer, Voodocruiser, Bobm Riderrigs and everyone else prove this .

It was a good shop day today. My wife gave me a two post lift for my birthday back in 2012. I managed to put it up in Colorado, but never finished the install due to our move to Missouri. It sat on my flatbed trailer for 2 years while I built the shop and completed the move. Today I finished the installation and it works great! Life just got a whole lot easier. Still waiting on the cone washers for my knuckle rebuild, but seeing some light ahead.

A video of first run. Guess it didn’t load. Sorry

I know bobm said to leave my third members alone or possibly go blind. Threw caution to the wind and started to give them some lovin. Debated on replacing pinion seals, but ordered a set and paper gaskets from cruiseroutfitters. Glad I did as these are pretty sad looking. Hoping to paint before it drops temperature again.

Laid on the snow and ice most of my adultish life. Feel pampered with a shop and lift now. Not sure when adult life kicks in.

Had an old folks moment last week. My wife wanted a crossbow, so I got her one for her birthday. Some assembly required. In my 30 year old mind, I could pull the arms of the bow down enough for my wife to put the string on. Pulled and pulled and pulled. BUT WAIT! I can put the butt of the stock on my sternum and pull with both arms together and get the string on. Somehow the butt slipped down on my xyphoid process and managed to pop some cartilage on the right side of my sternum. Similar to cracked ribs. Been rehabbing all week with copious amounts of New Belgium’s Fat Tire and naproxen. Should of kept playing with my third members.
