So I'm trying to hook up my reverse lights with my new H55 install, these have never been hooked up since I've owned the truck. I've got the wiring diagram, but I need to know where the pigtail forks off the main harness. There doesn't seem to be anything under the truck on either frame rail, where does the plug come from?

Any help or pics of what I need to look for appreciated ;-). This is a '79 FWIW -

I think it's on passenger side under mat then dives in quarter panel to tail light, them goes down under truck between fuel tank and body then comes back up behind drivers quarter panel to other tail light . Disclaimer.....old dude memory

If you can't find where it plugs in, you might just have to trace back the wiring from the reverse lights and then just make a short harness to the switch on the tranny. Shouldn't be that difficult with Coolerman's schematic repository.

I've got the EWD but it only tells me what color wires to look for, Coolerman doesn't have stuff for late cruisers. I think Threadchaser pointed me in the right direction, will be back in town Wed. Trying to get it figured out from here, won't have time to spend all day chasing with all the other things I have to do.
