Hello,

x2.

12.5 in. wide tires eat up axle bearings and seals as well.

Nothing like pizza cutters/skinny tires.

Juan

Yea, I just finished doing the front axle this past weekend and seals/bearings for rear are in transit.

Once the full float rear end is done I'd like to enjoy the 77 and put a few miles on it before doing the suspension in the next month or so.

I’ve run 285/70/17 BFG KO2 then 295/70/17 YOKO G003.

Now I run a 35x10.50R17. I immediately noticed how much better the handling became on a skinnier tire.

Another good option is 285/75/17, its roughly 34" tall and 11.3" wide depending on brand. Keeping on the skinny side while gaining some height. Not a lot of options in that size, Yoko's and toyo's are some.

Am finding my options for 255/85 16's for the 16x6's to be limited seemingly to mt tread and whats in your photo appears to me a little more moderate in tread (or worn)

I wanted ATs in that size and ended up with Coopers. The details and discussion that led me there are in the build thread for my troopy in my sig.
