Reheating in Zip Lock bags - possible?

I'd guess it'd be fine if you can find a way to keep the opening above water.
But seems like it's a pretty easy experiment to do at home to be sure.
 
I wouldn't do this. All current plastic containers will give off a gas when heated >100 deg F that interfers with the phytoestrogens in the body. Phytoestrogens may have protective action against diverse health disorders, such as prostate, breast, bowel, and other cancers, cardiovascular disease, brain function disorders and osteoporosis. I don't think I would chance this. Pour the food into a cast iron pan to heat it.
 
Freezer bag cooking

I have cooked meals while backpacking doing something similar. Poured boiling water into the bag rather than putting the bag into boiling water. Take a look at FreezerBagCooking.com

I'm in line with sg on this. I think the absolute worst is microwaving food in a ziploc. However, if you can, remove the contents from the bag and use a pot to reheat. Just my .02
