I will be leaving the middle of next week for Utah for ~5 days if I dont catch you then Ill be back out north shortly after.

I would have left sooner but we may have serious weather up here so I made sure to replace shingles etc at my parents place keeping them watertight hopefully

One other thing about down shifting. I find that i have to drive kind of slow in 2nd. Find one of my older posts from a few months ago aboit going over teton pass. But some of the other guys here were laughing at me for keeping the speed and rpm kind of low. Apparently there style is to drop it in 2nd and let it rip. Most of those guys are much more knowlagable than i am. But you have to deside what you are comfortable with. Search that thread, it is kind of funny.

Wish you were heading a week or so later. I am thinking of hitting SE UT around Oct 1 if i can.

This weekend I wouldn't be surprised if blackbear imogene might get temp closed if it snows much, if so lots of other trails and could go to Moab, black bear prob be fine the following weekend
