We have a 95 that has serious rear harness corrosion and shorting. I found the problem area the other night. i have some parts of a 92 harness and am wondering if the two are the same or even compatible for swapping.

Pics are here: more weird electrical gremlins-95 fzj80

I need to DD the truck and let my kid use it often. If the spare harness parts I have are not compatible-and don't look to be-then I need to get other parts coming asap.

It sure seems like those harnesses (91-92 and 93-97) would be the same for lights, but I really don't know for sure.

I'm looking for a parts 80 near you too.

Petesauto.net Pete's auto in Jenison looks like they might have an lx450 in their yard, not for sure though.

Cool. I figured that would be close to you. I'll keep looking.

More applicable a answer to your other thread, ask the parts guy at your favorite source for Toyota parts for 'collision repair plugs' - you buy the plugs & you can also order a terminal w/ a 6" wire attached.

That's the other option if a used harness doesn't work - frankly I'd buy that harness if it's reasonable & scavenge it for parts, I'll bet the collision repair stuff has gotten hit-n-miss or flat NLA.
