After a terrible experience with the EBay setup I ordered the OEM parts as detailed in this thread.

@RJS HTX @ranma21 - Found this whole posting from googling looking for my rear wiper blade attachment replacement for our 2005 Lexus LX470. The previous one fell off in a LEXUS CARWASH no less, & they didn't do anything about it. (kids working the Free car wash for Lexus owners/buyers). This looks Much better anyway! Our Big Lex looks almost exactly like yours @RJS HTX - Blizzard Pearl etc. I know this is from February, but @ranma21 do you still have one that I can order please? Thanks! Also, keeping the instructions above for installation. Thank you!

Guys - I took the @landylover21 route, and ordered the Alphard parts from the mother country, aka Japan, aka Amayama Trading Company. Great experience, was quick enough considering distance. I was even impressed by their duct tape, its better than ours. Anyway - the only thing I would STRONGLY suggest is proceeding with caution when removing current rear wiper arm. Spray on a bunch of penetrating oil and whatever else you need to prevent yourself from snapping the bolt of the linkage assembly. Take it easy because the diameter is small and super easy to snap. Despite previously posted advice I snapped mine, which doubled the cost of the upgrade and probably tripled the time of install, the linkage is a little tricky to swap out. Doable, just a PITA dummy tax to pay for an otherwise quick/easy/inexpensive upgrade. Anyway, really like the end product, the OEM arm looks like junk IMO, this guy brings it up a level.

@Gnarwgn What is the part #? I tried going to Amapama Trading website & it is not easy to search unless you have the part #. Thanks!

FYI, this wiper blade hooks on to the wiper arm pretty weakly and though it certainly won’t come off during normal use I had mine forcibly removed by an automatic car wash. They bought me a new one, but I’d strongly recommend taping the blade to the arm (like below) before going through any automatic car wash.

Is there another source for this rear wiper? Shipping to the US of A from Amayama is seriously delayed right now.

PartSouq shows 2 in-stock. $27.25 + ~$13 shipping to USA.

On your mark... Get set... GO!

And they have 7 of the blades too:

Doh!!!! Too slow!

I don’t know how the **** they can ship from halfway across the planet in less than half the time than it takes McGeorge to get anything to me.

Yeah. Usually. Except my most recent order was stuck in Customs in Memphis since July 26th. Just got an update today it should be here Monday. I think customs lost it. Then found it again.

Your wiper looks good.

Went out and purchased the wiper puller after attempting to pull it with a couple of my trim tools...:bang:

Popped right off in two seconds...

Just lost mine 2 weeks ago to an automatic car wash. Been through at least 1.5 years of biweekly automatic car washes.
