Rear Window Gear 72751-39020 Question

Could someone tell me what model years the nylon gear (72751-39020) in the tailgate regulator works in?

I have an FJ55 manufactured November 1975. It has front disc brakes so I believe it is considered a '76.

Anyway, I have the gear and want to know if it will work in my year.

Take a close up of the center of the gear, they are different.

if it is the 1 you have in classifieds, it doesn't matter because it has the gear and matching shaft to swap in.

Question...is the gear that's on the shaft, the same on early and late gear sets? Will that gear match up to the other gear, early or later style.
