has anyone tried converting these to automatic instead of manual? Is it even possible?

Just wondering because mine were open and we hit a dirt road for a few miles and I couldn't just stop since we had like 20 vehicles. Would have been nice to hit a switch and close them.

I've wanted to retro fit the 100 series vent openers bc they are motorized. Seems possible just havent researched it much

I can't say I'm too surprised, though the price gap between the Toyota and Lexus is greater than I expected. 2015's are only separated by $3k.

I kinda like that they are manual, I can open or close them when sleeping in the back without having to turn the ACC on.

Forgot to mention I spoke a company a few month ago who makes gull wing windows similar to these;

The sales rep said that they were hoping to come out with these for the 120 Prado/GX later on this year, a little pricey at around $400 per side if I recall so I decided not to follow up. Haven't ruled out maybe just converting one side for easy access when camping or when the bikes are on the back.

Considering I've seen threads with links to sites selling them for the 100 series for like $999 a side, $400 is a bargain
