I purchased the Victory panels a few months ago and installed some USB plugs into them. I intended to purchase a 2015 LX but the deal fell through after I had the panels and plugs ordered. So while I haven't installed them into an LX, here's what I came up with. I'll do a proper write up once I get them installed. I've been told that there's wires at the base of the seat that are sufficient for the USB plugs, both constant power and accessory power. Judging by the size of the wires on the plugs, it won't take much of a wire to do the job. I used a dremel tool with a cut off wheel to cut the panels to fit the plugs.

I used some black vinyl to cover the writing on the plugs as I wasn't a fan of the labels, it's pretty obvious what they are. Also, these plugs are not supposed to have any backlighting. No need for a red or blue light glaring at the passengers for the whole ride.

Have you installed these into a vehicle? Mine finally arrived from victory this week and been pondering the best way to wire into the vehicle. I like the vinyl wrap idea. I was thinking about finding a solution that would remove the printed ink, but figure anything I use would likely damage the plastic before it removed the print.

I have and they’ve been working as advertised. I tapped into the wires at the main connector for the seat. It’s just under the front. Pull the 4 seat bolts and tip it back to give a bit more working room if needed.

As for the outlet, I ended up installing these instead. The led light was annoying to passengers on the original set. Plus these look a bit better.

I am fitting mine up now. I think I found a good power source. The white connector for the screen is a 12 pin, and pin 6 has power and pin 9/10 are grounds. I was going to use that.

My follow up is, what did you do with the middle stud for the bracket? It seems that gets in the way when you put the USB charger there. I assume you cut it off?

I used one of the large wires at the primary seat connector located at the front of seat bottom.

I don’t have a visual of the stud you’re talking about, can you provide a picture? I do know I didn’t have to cut or remove anything that was installed from the factory.

Those are VERY small wires in the white connector. What do you plan to power with the USB ports?

What size wires are they? USB spec calls for max 5A, so 18ga (possibly smaller) over short distances should be ok.

Not sure I understand the PD connector. Unless you have a means to step up the voltage you are not going to get more than ~60W from a 12V source.

The stud circled in red, interferes with the USB charger when mounted.

@jpatel2826 mine is a 2013 and I don’t recall having that middle stud. I’ll take a look when I’m back home on Saturday. In the meantime, if you never see the screens going back in, I’d just cut it out. I checked Victory’s site and the 13-15 LX’s have a different set up vs 16 and up LX’s and LC’s.

Looking to remove the factory rear screens in my '18. I found a product on Victory 4x4 that covers the holes. Is there another product anyone recommends or any info from anyone who has used these? VLCMD.html Does anything with entertainment system need to be done besides unhooking them and installing the covers?

Second, is there a market to sell the factory screens and if so, what is a recommended price point?
I know this is an old thread. Looking to buy a screen. Let me know if you still have yours!
