I've searched, but can't find a clue as to what the long cubby in the rear passenger side was intended for. It has some stretched out elastic straps in it, so I'm assuming it got some use...

Makes sense...

My rigs PO had a first aid kit in the smaller one, was that Toyotas idea?

The small cubby in lower right corner is intended for a first aid kit.

So first aid kit in the small compartment and reflective triangles in the long one?

Has anyone repurposed them for something cooler? Haha

Breaker bar and socket for wheel lug nuts in the long one.
Ham radio transiever hidden in the small one.

Who knew, I put the first aid kit in the first aid chubby.

I hid the passenger side fuse block and 2, 12volt sockets in the long flippy chubby. The breaker bar kept falling out.

I keep first aid in both cubbys, along with a pair of mechanics gloves. Been trying to think of something cooler to keep in there

. . . a roll of disposable toilet paper.

before my drawers were added, I use to keep a snatch strap in the long one

My small cubby has the worthless dvd player in it, where did toyota put the first aid kit?

I have a HAM radio in the small cabbie and tie down straps, rope and some bungees in my long narrow one.

ARB Fluorescent 12V work light in the long one with some ratchet straps, my HAM radio brain in the small one.

Good ideas. I'm thinking I'll use mine for recovery straps and first aid.

Like @Landsharkman (used to), I have a lightweight recovery strap in there.
