kidglove - looks like you're set, between the mini-sliders & the lower shock guards - are you running heavy sidewall LCA's or factory tubewall?

Factory for now or until I bend one:hillbilly:
I am going wheeln at a pretty hardcore place here in VA in a couple of weeks and there are a few spots where these will help alot, I hope.
We shall see

New construction site? :flipoff2:

Sorry, can't help it, having started my wheeling career in VA. :hillbilly:

The mini sliders look good, I think you took a good angle to them. Will be interested in your impressions.

Its a small little slice of rock heaven on private land in Crozet.

Hey Nay, once a redneck always a redneck, Colorado Boy:flipoff2:

Just picked up the raw material and will start this project next weekend.

I'm also debating doing some cheap-o LCA armor by simply welding a 1.5" x .25 piece of angle iron on.

OK so I got to do some reall world testing of the new control arm mount slider.
There are several places that I normally get hung up on at this place we go to about once a month.
Very rocky and a lot of potential for high center and getting hung up on the rear control arm frame mounts.
All I have to say is that the sliders worked flawlessly and I did not get hung up at all which was a first.
Every situation where I would normally get hung the sliders, with alittle more gas slid right over.
If you are going to be playing in the rocks this mod should be at the top of the list because it is really easy and really effective.
A must do for any rock rig.

I'm glad the changes worked so well for you. Hopefully others will give it a try and be able to reap the benefits.

I'm in the club:). Nothing groundbreaking obviously, just a mod I've been needing to do for some time. One of the mounts was so dented in that I had to cut/ bend/ weld to straighten it out.

It might be, I know I broke quite a few rocks (ground) with mine before I reinforced them, still haven't ramped them yet - guess I'm behind the curve.
