How do you know when the rear coils are shot?
160k miles isn’t crazy high, my the rear bottoms out pretty easily and it’s a bit bouncy on mine. Gonna do shocks and at this mileage I figured why not.
Longer ones goes on left/ driver side due to higher weight of the tank
I’ve heard this from one other source. Is this it!?

Might it also be a difference of AHC vs non?

Regardless, it seems like a fair questions since parts.toyota.com says all of the following are a fit for the right rear of an 06:

48231-6A780
48231-6A680
48231-6A690
48231-6A770

I’m pretty sure 99 is pre AHC. Mine is conventional.

I have the Dobinson C59-223V installed on my 100 series. They gave me a solid 1.5 inches of lift. I haven’t lifted the front but it does give it a bit of a stink bug stance.
I loaded up my Landcruiser and went on a 6000 mile road trip loaded down with 4 people and it performed flawlessly. They have been great so far. I like the fact I can load up the rear and still be able to do some light to medium off-roading without scraping the rear hitch.

Yep, that's it. You can also check out a few videos on youtube that all state it this way. Also install instructions show it.
