Rear Bumpers Nowadays....

Have you had all three bumpers and speak from experience? Just because something is new doesn’t make it better than an older product.
I have Sean's bumper from 2013 and works for my needs but I've been monitoring dissent and delta and they make quality products. More options, better angles etc.

Im not saying newer is better, in fact I think 90s Japanese cars were the prime quality compared to cars today.

my vote for latest & greatest would be delta and dissent. The others ones are now pretty outdated including slee, 4x4 etc, those were the OG
The latest & greatest can easy hit 6 to 10 K
Delta's

Dissent's would be in the 4 to 6 K range with swing out

So if you want the latest & greatest you may need to sell a kidney or first your born 😂

Most definitely.

you know the saying ... you gotta pay to play :D at one point I was debating upgrading the bumper but Sean's bumper is built well and at the time was only $1650 with dual swing outs / ladder, basket and high lift mount with side quarter protection. It's a no-brainer to keep it and enjoy it at that price

I wholeheartedly agree. Prices have gone ballistic, But with your fab skills, not a problem, right?;)

I can’t make any that fancy but ya I have made a few bumpers. 😜

Yes I do 😎 But at those prices I wonder just how meany Bumpers there selling ?

I'm not seeing a lot of them out in the wild.

I do get it it's expensive to produce a nice product for a niche market but I would say that it's out of reach for most 80 owners. JMHO for deep pockets only

Definitely not our biggest seller, but we are always making them. Folks like @Outsane are proving they can make it down any trail too.

It would be interesting to see one in action on trails like the Rubicon or Pritchard canyon.
I know that my good friend with a similar built 80 ditch his swing outs on his 4xlabs rear bumper as he was getting hung up on obstacles and having to winch where I was driving right up with my minimalist high clearance home made bumper.

To be fair my rig is built to tackle the hardest trails.

With shipping you're at over $10k...

That's a ridiculous config with redundant options.
Ain't nobody optioning rotopax on their Jerry can holster on their ladder cover on their flip out grill on their tow strap pocket . . . With Baja lights 😂

I had a $5,000 armor budget. I got a single swing out Delta bumper, White knuckle sliders and a DIY Labs front bumper for my 8274. Still need trail Taylor skids.

I'm an OCD psycho about rattles and my wife doesn't do well with levers and gadgets so spending a little more on the back side was worth it for me but you don't have to be cocaine rich to buy the Delta stuff if you option it reasonably.

I also sliced a big hole in mine for the slee receiver so it's pretty sweet that the Gen. 2 makes that easier.
