This is my '95. I've had it about 2 months and love it so far. I've always had Jeeps in the past. The 4runner has 127,000 miles and the previous owner had a huge envelope full of maintenance records. I asked the lady the same old questions "have you had any problems with it?" no, "what about the transfer case?" and she says "what's that?" I thought SOLD!!! hahaha
I'm looking forward to getting into the mods soon.
So far I've: Changed axle fluid, diff fluids, tranny fluid, put in new cv's, new radiator, Rancho 5000's, Rancho steering stab., Eibach rear springs. Much more to come.

Yeah, I was shocked. The truck looks/drives like new. I have gone back and forth about leaving it bone stock, It'll be a classic in a few years! haha
I've always had Jeeps that I've built and then sold and this was bought for my next project. I have a new Accord that I drive during the week so it sits here until I feel like driving it anyway. I had to jump on the deal before someone else did.

Ditch the running boards, lock the rear axle, maybe a slightly larger tire and some bumpers and wheel it.

This is my 83 Toyota Hilux.
Yodaman built with a clean 22R, and rebuilt L52, stocker Tcase. 30" M/T's I'm going to replace with 30" BFG A/T's when I can afford it.
Front tired stock springs and rears beefed up with 5/8" add-a-leaves that makes me arse skip around over potholes or railroad tracks.
APC racing buckets mated to factory mounts (more or less), JVC head unit, Sony 4" speakers and Oldsmobile 6" speakers that came from a conveniently close-at-hand source:lol: and fit just right between the seats and rear wall.

future plans:
- New Paint
- Mild lift
- Homebrew bumpers
- Earlier headlight assemblies with Roundeyes
- LED's all around
- Sound Dampening
- Twin Sticks

Someday:
- Swap out the 22R/L52 for a 1KZ-TE/R151.
- Marlin adapters to keep the stock T-case instead of the chain-drive.

I call her: "The Mule" 'cause she'll never win a beauty pageant, or a race, but she does what she needs to, and gets me where I need to be.
