I have a lot of work to do...

In bound are:

Yukon 4:11 Fine spline R&P
Yukon Set up kit
M8000 Warn winch
Ultimate Air Regulator/hose/20lb tank bracket

and I'm thinking about:
JK customs anti-wrap bar

So I have to pull the brakes/axles
pull the Aussie Locker
pull the third
have the new R&P meshed
have the third rebuilt
reinstall the third
reinstall the locker
reinstall the axles
reinstall and adjust the rear brakes
mount and wire the winch
mount the air tank
check the driveshaft
and new ujoints
break-in the new R&P

so I have some work to do

oh, then PS pump/exhaust leak/desmog/pan gasket/inspection cover gasket and plugs

geez

Still bet you back on the road before me!:):) And that's a good thing we need the Black and Tan Flagship all blinged up and rolling. Good luck.

Not mine at least not now

After removal of the headliner noted two more rust areas on the roof and rain gutter area. So removal of metal and welding in new metal. Only way to go. DSC_0078 (Small).webp Still think she looks forelorn without her wheels and undercarrage. ;)

Quarter Pannel Vy Covers

For Kevin don't know why but he wanted a pic of the covers to the QP area not the opening.

Please ignore my ugly big toe!!

Real Tech Question

Not so much for now but for stage two mods. I have taken some photo's of the trans transfer case. It seems I remember in one of the threads that some talked about a spacer on the 85 year models in fererence to the H55 swap. Some did have the spacer from toyota and the h55 was a simple bolt in procedure. Others did not have the spacer and much more fabrication work was needed. I know from my research and reading the 4 85 is when this started but don't remember how to identify the situation. Any who some of you h55 swap gurus look and tell me your opinion. Thanks. BT 60 is a April 85 edition.

Let me know lot of fab work or easy bolt in operation

Little Bannan's

Assembly of some items to give my arms and back a rest from all the grinding and wire brushing going on the roof and rear frame area.
So 4+ Battery box install

Still Going Dry Fitting ARB and 4+ Bumpers

Well took a break from welding in new steel on the roof and rain gutter area. Dry fitted the ARB bumper, sliders and 4+rear bumper.

And the sliders, god these things are beefy!!:p

And the back of the ARB bumper where my future winch will live:hhmm:
DSC_0112 (Small).webp

Other than grinding and welding in small rust spots on the rood and rain gutter she is getting close to paint stage. More later. LOL

Bolt in, you have the spacer.

You need to get rid of that rusty master cylinder and put one o those purty T100s in there, it detracts form all that glare on the manifolds.
Thanks for the vinyl pics, you can see the little 1/4 pie shapes I was talking about. Just to be clear, no wheel well trim, and no lans for a gas door cable, or aux wire harness on the passenger side?

You are a god u made my whole day yeah:bounce::bounce::bounce: I have the spacer, the H55 sure looks better every minute.

Yes that is correct no wheel well trim , no lans for gas door cable or aus harness on the passenger side bare as a newborns butt.

Pm sent with other info, thanks thanks and oh thanks. By the way do you drink Scotch???

Master Cy

Kevin you are right that rusty master cy:o just looks crappy:censor: in the new born engine bay. Was going to wait and see the braking capabilities with the lift and the 35's and still may. But that ugly thing :bang::bang::bang:is right there taunting me every time I work on the BT. May have to do the brake change and 4 runner fronts and discs on the rear and new master in stage one. But indecision it's a killer. LOL

Well,

you ain't gonna out bling me, saw kevin's tailgate storage on durangodds's rig today, (while looking at the big a$$ defender rack I'm gonna buy) and got on the list.

Out bling Ingrid perish the thought. She is our BT flagship and we bow to the blingness. Great that you are getting the tailgate storage, saw it on the other thread but for a change did not highjack. Kevin let me know that the transmission I have has the correct spacer for the conversion to H55 should be a simple bolt in operation. With that I now know that I am going to add the Marks low range gearing. So keep me posted how that goes on ingrid. Thanks Trapper Roof rack still thinking custon but d**n that ARB is nice.

That is going to be an amazing set up- 5spd with 55% reduction in 4 low and 8% overdrive on the 5spd will get you up to highway speeds at low r's...that's going to be so nice. The ARB is a nice rack, I can't wait to get choppin on the Defender rack and get the jack out of the truck not to mention the spare 35

you are going to be stoked with that 5spd (read: JEALOUS)
