Looks great. Does the led strip tuck into the awning case and do you have a link to that dimmer switch?

Thanks guys!

I'll get some better pictures today.

As far as what I bought, here is my Amazon order.

The magnetic switches are for my drawers and I wouldn't buy the led connectors again, they were too finicky. I locally bought a bunch of 20 and 18 gauge wire and I ended soldering the wire directly to the LED light strip.

And I found this gem of a Sirius satellite radio installation.

Likely done by bestbuy "professionals". This was stuffed under my shifter console and must have been wired to a Sirius receiver at some point.

Been working not stop on this thing. I may not have a girl friend by the time I'm finished building this thing.

I thought it was kind of nuts that they expect you to drill through the frame and have a straight hole on the back side. Instead, I used a small bit to drill a pilot hole based on the hole in the bracket. Then I went at it from the other side with the 1/2 bit.

I've had my 100 for 3 years now, removed a bunch of satelite crap shortly after buying it. I get panels and trim out of if quite often while modifying/adding things and still find little bits of crazy electrical stuff like that! Unbelievable!

Yeah, those professionals jammed a product onto the back of my BMW factor radio and broke the antenna.

Never again.

Consider me subscribed to this thread, I have the EXACT same (unmodified) rig. So did you ever get the spare fixed up with the new tire? Interested to see if it fit.

Another day, another project.

Installed a superwinch 11.5k tigershark SR.

I planned to install the bumper and the winch at the same time but the winch got held up in shipping. I was so excited to mount the bumper, that I couldn't wait for the winch. I had to take the bumper off again yesterday to put the winch on though.

Since these are designed for warn winches, the solenoid mount wasn't right for the superwinch. I ended up having to fab up a plate for the bottom of the solenoid box to make it mount to the bumpers bracket.

Now I have to adjust my torsion bars to make up for the added weight on the ahc. Here's to hoping I don't have to reindex them!

That's how I'm thinking about setting up my 02'!! Love the look @Ramathorn15. I'm hoping to find a set of those OEM 18" wheels.

Thanks! @04Sport

So I plugged in my techstream and read my pressures. It was 8.0 in the front and 6.9 in the rear. I was kind of surprised because just a week or so ago, before bumper and winch, I read my pressures and they were 7.3 in the front and 8.0 in the rear.

I was able to crank the torsion bars 7 rotations to get 6.9 in the front and 6.6 in the rear.

I'm wondering how the rear could have dropped so much. I didn't change anything except for the bumper and winch. Is it possible that the bumper and winch being forward of the front wheels created a kind of pivot to take the weight off the rear?? Seems very implausible but I can't think of any other reason.

Hey sorry, I blew right past your question. I did get the spare to fit. I had to remove the aftermarket hitch. I don't think you can have any style hitch and carry that size spare. I'm just waiting on my dissent rear swingout because even though it fits, I constantly drag it when doing any type of offroading because it hangs so low

Hey so remember when you started this thread in the beginning of March and you said you were going to do the build slow? Yeah, well you lied.

I'm digging the ARB bumper. As a personal request can you add a Gamiviti 3/4 or full expo roof rack next please. I want to see what it looks like as I continue to add these big ticket items to my wish list and since we've got the same color rig it helps me visualize it all.

Thanks.

Hahaha this is slow to me! I used to work in a Jeep shop and we would totally outfit Jeeps in a matter of days. I have been working non stop, aside from when I'm at my day job, so I guess its coming together pretty quick.

I've actually been considering the Gamiviti rack. I have to figure out our camping situation first though. Trying to decide between trailer with RTT or RTT on the truck. If its on the truck, I probably wont throw money at a rack if I can get by using the stock crossbars (not totally sure on weight capacity of the factory 4 mount system as opposed to the 6 mount I see on some LC's).

I think the next goals are to figure out if I should flush the tranny, grease the front bearings, and replace the lower ball joint dust caps. I also have new heater T's and hoses to replace. Ohh, I also have to fab up a dog barrier for the rear.

I'm confused. So the LCs have 6 mounts for the factory roof rack?

I have seen a couple different style of stock racks.

1) like mine, 4 mounting posts, front mounts ends at front of rear doors.
2) 4 mounting posts, front mounts end at front doors.
3) What appears to be 6 posts (the middle ones might just be support and not bolted) and the front posts extend to the front doors, same as #2.

I could use some clarification too. It seems all racks are the same for the LC/LX but the mounting locations are clearly different for the stock racks.

Not sure if you covered it, but how did you mount your awning to the stock roof rack???
