Yes I've considered it. No I'm not making them. SS is VERY hard, not very forgiving, and very expensive. You make one mistake bending up a line and you have to start over. It looks good and will last forever but so will the NiCopp but NiCopp is very forgiving. It does get stronger when you bend it. Funny how that works.

NiCopp will never corrode. Just like Stainless.

Rainman, forgive me if you addressed this on earlier thread pages, I did not read all of them. Do you make them for the 60 series as well? As you can see I am a two land cruiser family.

Not for the 60s. At least not yet. The axle lines may or may not be the same. I don't know. I don't have access to a 60 to find out. You could check under yours and see.

HA! Just sent you a PM.

Interested in stuff for a 4/74, when available.

The 60-series axle lines are NLA from Toyota, so they would be nice to have, but the 60 axle housing I believe are a little wider, so I do not know if the late 40 ones could be 'made' to work or not, but the bends look identical. :meh:

Nice work.

Stay tuned Spike. I think a close buddy is just about ready to bite the bullet on a '72. If so, I'll have it here working on it and will be able to make the patterns for the whole truck. I believe that will help me with a LOT more Cruisers. Yours included.

Lines for 60s will have to wait.

Thanks!

I have an 81 40 series and an 84 60 series so I will compare.

I would definitely be in for a set for a 7/74.

Thanks!

Rainey, got your lines today...they are SUPER sharp! Can't wait to install them, packaging was great, when I first saw the box with a crease int it and a hole punched through it I cringed, but when I opened it up all the pieces were perfect! Thanks for your attention to detail in all aspects of your product, you do a super job!! Will definately be back for other lines, and a T-shirt, too!

Got my brake lines too.
Seriously, like a work of art. Can't wait to get them on my cruiser.
Very nice attention to detail. I couldn't be happier. Worth every penny.
Thanks Rainey

Nothing more rewarding than happy customers...

Thanks for posting. And please! Post some pictures when you've installed.

just wanted to pop in and share some info... rainey and I are working on some lines for the ever elusive 9/1970 era. I have mailed him a complete set of factory lines that were hopefully in good enough shape to make some templates. Rainey even mailed me a set of his later lines to see if they would fit... unfortuneately they do not... BUT I can't say enough of the quality of the lines. I thought the NiCopp would feel "soft" but these lines feel very strong and look great. The fittings seem better quality than OEM too.

You never told me what year your truck was. But yes, those would be great.

There are several of you trying to help with the odd combinations going around. I REALLY appreciate it. All this does produce discounts! (as long as there is a benefit from it somehow.) Please don't start sending me junk for an exchange...

Mine is a 1973..Dec 72 build date. If it will help I will send them if not I will clean them up and put them back on my frame.

That's up to you @FluByU

I'd like to get you a good clean set in NiCopp if you can wait just a little while. If you send your lines, I can compare them to what I have and (hopefully) end up with a '72 here to work from. That may be a few weeks or more though. So send them if you don't mind. It may not may a big difference but it sure can't hurt.
