So proffit is no longer doing these swaps does anyone know who is doing them now? Sweet ride for sure inspirational... I need to just do this to my 62.

So i finally got the exterior lineX done! 30 years of rock chips gone.

Had them follow the lines discussed here:Anal Retentive Owner Needs Opinions on Exterior Line-X

I made sure there was absolutely no rust before the coating was applied. They covered all holes, finally get to get rid of the duct tape i had covering the snake blinder holes!

Well, thanks for that, you jerk!

I was completely happy with my black rattle can rockers. Now I want Line-X! :flipoff2:

Awesome, glad to see it worked out as planned! Option 4 was deff the best route and as stated before can barely notice it, they did a great job with the match now enjoy!

Got my new Powergate dual rectifier after the old one (3 years old, first edition) went bad. It didnt really go bad, but the LEDs stopped working and it was working "less efficiently" as Scott from Powergate put it. Event though the device was a few years old, Scott took the old one back and exchanged it for a new one at a very fair price. I was interested in the new one anyways as it had the option to combine the batteries... no more hooking up jumper cables! Either way I cant say enough good things about Powergate, Scott and their customer service. Excellent and an excellent product.

Anyways got the new box wired up and a momentary switch in the dash for self jump starts. Took hours of internet surfing to find something that i thought matched the interior but found one... here she is:

Also took the time to wire up an aux cable to the back of the stereo and run it behind the dash so i wouldnt have wires everywhere!

If your still thinking about an IC, google frozenboost. They make air to water IC in plenty of sizes. You have a ton of room for one in the engine bay!

Been reading up on all the diesel builds, I'm about to score a low mileage FJ60. Gonna throw a 12 valve cummins in it ASAP

Prowler, how do you like the phone location? I have mine over the dash near my deck. Might move it closer but was thinking of trying it in your location. Only thing is that I plan to add a vacuum gauge there (eventually).
