Yea the one I saw a well ago left an impression. It has Gravitas.Going up to my Father-in-laws, spotted this. Yup, it's the new GX550. Almost got whiplash when I first saw it out of the corner of my eye.
Sure is purtty...

Yeah, one pulled out in front of me the other day. Really nice, looked like the overtrail or similar trim (not the luxury trim for sure). Looked great. Has me rethinking my "never not buy a v8" thing haha.Yea the one I saw a well ago left an impression. It has Gravitas.
I’m more concerned with the reliability.I'm waiting to see what the performance specs are vs. the current GX.
Agree 95%. I hate the extraordinary amount of, how you say, pedestrian plastic, in a luxury vehicle.I like everything about it, but the engine.
Same. My neighbor works for Toyota corporate in Plano and he was telling me how much more power the TT V6 and the hybrid 4s make, how much engineering, efficiency, blaa blaa. I told him I care much less about power and efficiency than I do reliability and the motor not sounding like a weed whacking Raptor. Looked at me like I had two heads.I’m more concerned with the reliability.
Toyotas success was using V6s and V8s with lower than average power to keep its reliability. Focus was longevity and not making the most power.Same. And that right there is why I'll never give up my 460 or a V8. When my 4.6 dies and I'm still alive I'll at that point swap in the 5.7.Toyotas success was using V6s and V8s with lower than average power to keep its reliability. Focus was longevity and not making the most power.
I approve this! And that right there is why I'll never give up my 460 or a V8. When my 4.6 dies and I'm still alive I'll at that point swap in the 5.7.
I'm not local but I know exactly where that is.. I wonder if Bob and Kathy are still roaming the grounds on their golf cart...
Why does it say this only works up to 2019 models? I have a 2021 so I can't use it?This morning, this little baby goes in! (Multi-Terrain Select module)
Now I just need to spend a few minutes reviewing our CC and MTS thread to see just how the install goes. I'll post when done.

Thanks for the info.@ihBmud - System changed in 2020 and former ECU swaps were no longer applicable. Logic appears to have been moved to ABS Skid Control ECU and some wiring was eliminated in the process
Drivetrain Hardware has essentially stayed the same 2010-2023 but when it comes to infotainment and crawl/MTS… no not all the same

460-Add Crawl Control (CC) and Multi Terrain Select (MTS) to 2010-2019 models/all trims
Awaiting on CC module from Bell. I think I know the answer but to confirm: I will install the CC in my driveway but will need to drive about 3 miles or so to a parking lot to do the ZPC with the OBD port shorting method (the straight part is the issue). I will try to do the ZPC in my drive but...forum.ih8mud.com
