Did some of the 1985s in the USA with SR5 package come with IFS vs solid axle? So many of these have solid fronts, not sure what to believe here. Looking at one with IFS and auto hubs supposedly.

The 85 model year trucks are all solid axle, the model year 86's are all IFS, some 86's were built in lat 85, so people mistakenly think they are 85's. The title should match the model year, not the build date...
IFS first appeared in 1986 model year trucks, so it is possible a rig was built in late 1985 as an '86 model year with the IFS. In a similar vein, I've got a 1985 model year 4R built in 12/84 that has a SFA and EFI. Post up some pics if you find out it really was built in 1985 but is a 1986 model year. I've never seen one.

You have a 1985 model, hence EFI. The 1985 model year began with 8/84 build dates. My 1985 has an 11/84 build date.
