Sl3 -
I misspoke (mistyped?): it lives in my shop at work. It's had a leaky upper radiator hose for over a year that makes it a PITA to drive & finally think the answer is at hand. A product manager at Gates just sent me a new one he verified to be within spec, plus I now have one of their trick heat-shrink hose clamps & 4 3/4", SS, T-bolt turbo hose clamps. But I also have the Contour fan setup ready to install when I pull the upper hose, so it's going to be a 4-8 hr project.

I didn't even think about this thread yesterday, but I just put it in my Day-Timer & it'll just be one of the many subjects I'll be snapping. Got lotsa parts from 3 vehicles, plus inventory overstock to off.

More sliding window help please.

back for more...

So i got a buddy to help gently spread the frame and ge tthe 2nd glass out. cool. except that now I can't remove the middle column with the rubber/felt squeegies... There is only one screw at the top, and nothing below. I'm worried about breaking it, and the old rubber gasket will not pull out without removing this middle thingamajig.:bang:

anyone remember how this went to replace yours?

TIA!

rob

Hey Tinker -pics? hehehe

Still stuck on this last part. Glass is out and i can't remove the center divider/column/whateveritis to pull weather strip gasket out.

Anyone remember how they got this done? I will try to grab a pic or two and post when i'm home tonight, but it only has one screw at the top - bottom is smooth with only drain holes...

Hey Tinker - just bugging you again for any pics of these installed showing how they fit. I'll get there eventually, but at this rate that will be a while... hehehe. i'm going to tint them before re-assembly.

Thanks!

rob

OK you whiners! Dynosoar asked me for some of the caterpillar fur for the division bar, so I'm sending him enough for both windows plus spacer material since those things usually disappear or fall apart.

So email me & I'll do the same. All I ask is postage. I hate the PO so I'd rather just go once.

Chris - call me & just come pick it up!

Thanks Tinker.

You're the best.
